I am a board-certified psychiatrist, accredited by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with a private practice based in Lexington, Massachusetts, and also a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society, the American Psychoanalytic Association, and the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (BPSI).  

My undergraduate studies were in psychology and biology, graduate study was in neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh, medical and psychiatric training at the Temple University School of Medicine and the Medical College of Virginia, and training in psychoanalysis at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society & Institute. 

Good mental health, well-being and a sense we are living the life we want are things many of us strive for, but may find it difficult to attain.  When it comes to achieving these goals, anxiety, depression, and other psychological difficulties can often prevent that from happening.

With over 25 years of experience in the mental health field, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals to better understand the psychological challenges and emotional distress that are impeding them.  In my practice, we will strive together to do just that, so we can better clear a path to living that life you want.
